Originally hailing from the wild redwood forests of northern California, with quality time spent in Portland, OR, Selena has set down roots on an off-grid homestead in rural Mendocino County on land traditionally part of the territory of the Cahto people.
Training in non-hierarchical peer support for mental health recovery, ten years of study in bioregional western herbalism and Ayurveda, five years of service as a community herbalist in retail apothecaries, a background in biology, a commitment to radical embodiment, and over 30 years of practice being a human inform her work.
She is grateful for the teachers who have guided her: Christa Sinadinos, Greta de la Montagne, Traci Webb, K.P. Khalsa, Janet Czarnecki, Erico Schleicher, Sabel Regalia, and others.
May the ideals of mutual aid, earth renewal, and love guide us in all we do.
Congratulations on these next steps, Selena! Looking forward to following along. You are such a wealth of knowledge and geniune, kind hearted person. Loved my time at fettle with you. Felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from you. Whenever I read something about Aviva Romm or Susun weed I think, in 30 Years, that will be Selena 😉
